Come What May What Comes In May

With summer right around the corner, the release schedule is definitely hitting its stride as we swing into May. Podcast listeners know we like to do a segment called “Stoked/Not Stoked”, and looking at the releases we have headed our way this month. There is plenty to be stoked about. In theaters, we have a few MAJOR franchise installments coming, including Marvel’s highly anticipated Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, Ridley Scott’s return to the Alien franchise with Alien:Covenant, the possible conclusion to Disney’s Pirates Of The Carribean story, Dead Men Tell No Tales, and a big-screen comedy action version of Germany’s favorite US import, Baywatch. There’s also a ridiculously high volume of high volume stokage coming to the ears this month, such as the eons in the making At The Drive In comeback album, some new rock albums from heavyweights Linkin Park and Papa Roach, a new Paramore album, Danzig’s latest, and the debut from DREAMCAR, the new AFI/No Doubt supergroup. What a way to kick off the summer season!
