This Year, April Is The Calm Before The Blockbuster Storm
By Jeff Feuerhaken
As is often the case around this time of year, we’ve hit that little lull, the calm before the storm of major blockbusters hit in the summer. There is one major exception, of course, and that exception is the latest in the prolific Fast and Furious franchise. Fate Of The Furious had some interesting drama go down on the opposite side of the camera during production, as there was a rumored beef between Vin Diesel and The Rock that spilled out onto Twitter. Was the beef real? Was it a hoax? Was it a promo for an upcoming Wrestlemania? Go see the movie, and if they look legit pissed at each other, then there’s beef, cuz you know they ain’t that good of actors. Just kidding guys, don’t beat me up. In musicland, the notable releases this month are coming from Incubus, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, New Found Glory, and Night Demon. Not a bad lineup. Maybe the calm before the storm ain’t that calm after all.
