Coming Next Month: January

Ring In The New Year With Some Brand New 2017 Style Goodness!

By Jeff Feuerhaken

Well readers, it’s been quite a year. We all know 2016 was a down year by practically all accounts. The good news, however, is that the pendulum must swing, and we could be looking at a satisfying and pleasant next 12 months. To get started, we have plenty of options at the theater this month. Ben Affleck’s new prohibition-era drama/action flick, Live By Night is coming, along with the latest entries in the Underworld and Resident Evil franchises. Michael Keaton’s latest, The Founder, a biopic of sorts on McDonalds guru Ray Croc, will be getting a wide release as well. For some ear candy, January brings us AFI’s Blood Album (or self-titled album, whatever), the much anticipated follow up to the excellent Burials. We also get some new tunes collections from punk vets Dropkick Murphy’s and metal vets Sepultura. All in all, it’s a great way to start the year, so pour yourself a nice glass of bubbly and celebrate!
