November Releases Give Us Much To Be Thankful For

The holiday season is almost here, and new releases in movies and music are dropping like the temperature. The newest film in the Marvel cinematic universe, Doctor Strange, plays leadoff hitter to other notable arrivals like Hacksaw Ridge, Arrival, Moana, and the biggie, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. These are perfectly good reasons to climb out from underneath your covers and get your arses out to the theaters. For the eardrums, we finally get the loooooonnng awaited new Metallica album, Hardwired…To Self Destruct. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere on the site, the early buzz on this album from the metal legends is promising, to say the least. We’re also getting new music from NYC hardcore legends Sick Of It All, a new Lamb Of God EP, some technical-shreddery from Protest The Hero, and more metal from In Flames and Superjoint. So much metal. Be sure to thank the metal gods at the dinner table before digging into that turkey.
