Coming Next Month: February

New Music And Movies To Fall In Love With In February

By Jeff Feuerhaken

It’s the shortest month of the year, but luckily there are lots of new movies and music coming packed into it to keep us going during those cold winter days. In theaters, we have the new John Wick flick, a new entry from the Ring franchise (Rings), and a new film by the original Ring director, Gore Verbinski, a psychological thriller called A Cure For Wellness. Did you know that Gore Verbinski, who also directed the first three Pirates Of The Caribbean movies, used to play in a punk band with members of Bad Religion and The Vandals? Now you do. In the music world, we have a beautifully romantic Valentines Day present from none other than Marilyn Manson, in the form of his new album SAY10 (get it?). Later in the month we also get a new album from Steel Panther, the glam band that singlehandedly keeps the 80’s alive and well. Their new one is called Lower The Bar. There’s plenty here to keep us occupied until the bigger release months hit us, starting in March, so enjoy!
